The smell of freshly cut grass in the morning…

Makes my nose tickle! Yuck. Well, I guess you only truly know it’s spring when them horrible allergies kick in again!

Yesterday afternoon, I finished my weekend off by sweating it out through one of Nike Training Club’s 45-minute beginner strength workouts, along with 25 minutes on the elliptical to warm up and cool down. According to NTC’s guidelines, I should really be doing their intermediate workouts. But man, even the beginner workouts just completely kick my butt!

After my workout, I decided to make myself Maria and Josh’s Creamy Avocado Yogurt Dip for a light and early dinner. I didn’t have any jalapeƱo peppers on hand, but didn’t miss it at all. The garlic gave the kick the dip needed. I also split the recipe in half to make two servings instead of four.

Yum! This recipe was definitely a hit. I had the dip with Mediterranean Snacks’ Baked Lentil Chips. These are my favorite chips for snacking on when I want that crunch. Unlike most chips, they don’t have that ridiculously high 110-for-10 calorie count. They’re 110 calories for 22 chips — not bad. And they still taste good! :)
