Heart-Pumpingly Early
After a day of waking up to my alarm clock as I should, my insomnia is back! I rolled over and immediately moaned, “Nooo” when I saw the time this morning: 6:16. Boo.
But instead of lying around for an aimless hour this time, I pulled on my compression socks and dragged myself to the gym for some early morning cardio.
This was my first time ever going to my gym on a weekday morning and it was more crowded than I would’ve expected. Still significantly less people than the after-work horde I usually see though. I ran a mile on the treadmill and then got on the rowing machine for twenty minutes. I hadn’t eaten anything before leaving for the gym so I started losing fuel about halfway through my rowing session. I powered through anyway though. Note to self to eat something in the future.
Overall, the workout got my morning off to a good start! I may need to start consciously planning to do this more. And no ear pain so far, which I’m taking as a good sign.
Have a nice day!

I give you credit for waking up and heading to the gym. I am absolutely horrible at getting to the gym in the morning. While I would love to workout before work the whole waking up early thing never happens for me. The snooze button is way too tempting. After work it is!
